MOSCOW, April 6 (Sputnik) – The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is investigating reports that UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) allowed two track athletes to participate in the inquest into their own positive tests, a senior communications manager for the agency told Sputnik, adding that the new findings will be part of a broader investigation into UKAD.
WADA’s probe into UKAD began more than a week ago, after the Mail on Sunday first reported that the UK-based agency allowed the country’s cycling governing body to conduct its own private inquest into a rider’s positive test in 2010.
